Learn from our fun read-alouds and get your wiggles out by singing and dancing in our group storytime.

Practice the very important skill of fine motor movements with different and fun activities every week.

Cold Brew Coffee

Have a relaxing morning watching your children play while you sip on free cold brew coffee.

The Family Resource Center is where all our activities take place. In it, there's a model home environment with a variety of materials on Montessori shelves. The simple set-up is meant to entice children to play and give inspiration to parents.

An easy way to know if you parked on the South side: Look for a playground! If you can see it, you know you're in the right place.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to be a member to attend?
No, you do not! It is free to come and anyone can attend! We have some toys out for anyone to play with, however, if you would like to take some materials home, you do have to be a member.
How old does my child have to be to come?
They can be any age! Most of our programming is catered towards children 1- 4 years old, but we adapt and adjust our activities so they are fun for all ages.
Can I drop my child off?
No, parents have to stay with their children while at the Kaleidoscope space.
How much does it cost?
Nothing! It is free to attend our weekly programming and open play hours!

Meet our Friendly Staff
Theresa Kallmes
Theresa has a passion for music and has been playing instruments since she was 6 years old. She has volunteered and worked with children for many years, and is excited to combine her favorite pass-times (singing, playing, and dancing) into a fun program for children. She also enjoys taking walks around lakes and watching sunsets.
Pa Chia Her
Pa Chia is the in-person coordinator of the Family Resource Center. Pa Chia worked as a Reading Tutor through the Americorps Program. Last year, she worked as an Assistant Teacher in a Montessori Children's House classroom.
Pa Chia enjoys working with children and watching them grow. In her free time, she likes to try new recipes and spend time with her loved ones.
